**👩🏫👨🏫 The Role: Data and MIS Officer **

As the Data and MIS Officer, you will be instrumental in maintaining the school’s data systems, ensuring accurate and actionable insights drive decision-making across the Academy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and oversee the MIS ( Management Information System), ensuring data integrity and alignment with strategic goals.
  • Prepare and submit statutory data returns, maintain compliance with GDPR and confidentiality guidelines.
  • Provide high:quality data analysis and reports to support teaching, learning, and operational planning.
  • Work closely with Senior Leadership Team, teachers, support staff, and external agencies to enhance decision-making.
  • Troubleshoot issues and support colleagues in leveraging data to drive educational excellence.

**✔️ Requirements & Qualifications **

  • significant school experience in an education environment, preferably in a secondary school
  • Demonstrated experience in managing school MIS (e.g., Arbour/Arbor) systems.
  • Strong data analysis and reporting skills (testimonials in Excel/Google Sheets).
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Strong understanding of GDPR, data protection, and confidentiality.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with staff, governors, and external partners.

**⚠️ Critical Notes **
