What you'll be doing
As our Data and Performance Lead, you'll be the funding knowledge expert everyone turns to. You'll ensure our data is accurate, compliant, and delivers the insights that power our programmes.
- Lead data analysis, insight and reporting across all education and skills programmes
- Own financial and performance reporting across contracts, producing monthly insights that inform strategic decisions
- Coordinate data integrity procedures and manage validation processes for error-free submissions
- Support development of core data systems and tools for new contracts and delivery
- Analyse programme data to predict trends, identify risks and inform future planning
- Lead business development projects to maximise impact
- Prepare for external audits and quality monitoring visits
- Provide training and support on data submission processes
This role gives you independent assurance that our data meets all funding compliance requirements. You'll have exceptional attention to detail and assist in preparing error-free ILR data for external funders.
You'll stay current with funding and compliance changes, sharing your expertise across the team whilst coordinating the end-to-end funding return process.

The must haves
- Knowledge of funding policy for education across all ages and provision
- Experience with ILRs, funding returns and MIS systems
- Strong IT skills across multiple platforms with advanced Excel knowledge
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environments
- Passion for data analysis and insight
- Positive, energised approach with enthusiasm for helping others
- Results-focused mindset
