Data & Systems Manager
East London | Hybrid (3–4 days per week) | £65,000-£72,000 + Bonus
We're partnering with a fast-growing workplace provider to find a Data & Systems Manager who will take ownership of the company's data platforms, business systems and AI strategy.
This is a broad, hands-on role that combines data governance, systems management, automation and vendor management. Reporting to the Finance Director, you'll work across Finance, Operations, Commercial and Leadership teams to ensure the organisation has reliable data, well-integrated systems and the right technology to support continued growth.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys solving business problems through technology and wants to play a key role in modernising systems, improving reporting and driving AI adoption.
The Opportunity
The business is currently undergoing a significant transformation programme, including the implementation of a new data platform and finance systems. You'll be instrumental in helping simplify a technology landscape that has evolved over several years, ensuring systems are connected, data is accurate and teams have the tools they need to make informed decisions.
While you'll manage relationships with external technology providers, this is a hands-on position. You'll be expected to understand how systems work together, troubleshoot issues, improve processes and identify opportunities to automate manual tasks.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
