Data Architects – Global Consulting Opportunity (Remote/Hybrid)
Partner Organisation: Leading global professional services firm specialising in Data & AI Consulting
About the Role
MCS Group are proud to partner with a major player in the professional services industry, supporting the expansion of their Data & AI Consulting capabilities. This high-growth team delivers next-generation cloud data platforms and AI-driven solutions, helping global enterprises modernise their data landscapes—enabling analytics, governance, and AI adoption at scale.
The Opportunity
We’re recruiting Data Architects (multi-level) to drive large-scale enterprise transformation programmes. In these high-impact consulting roles, you’ll directly engage with global clients to architect end-to-end solutions that drive digital innovation.
Core Responsibilities
You’ll be responsible for:
- Designing scalable, secure enterprise data architectures across cloud platforms including Azure, AWS, GCP, and Snowflake.
- Defining data modelling, integration, governance, lineage, and metadata strategies.
- Collaborating with Data Engineers, AI specialists, and business stakeholders to create liquid analytics and AI-ready platforms.
- Translating business needs into scalable, well-governed data solutions.
- Providing technical assurance and architectural oversight across delivery squads.
- Partnering with senior client stakeholders to influence strategy and investment decisions.
- Shaping data operating models and AI-driven architectures.

Requirements
You must demonstrate:
- Proven experience in enterprise data architecture (or senior data engineering) with a focus on cloud deployments.
- Expertise in data modelling, integration patterns, governance, and Master Data Management (MDM).
- Hands-on experience with Azure, AWS, GCP, Snowflake, or similar cloud data platforms.
- Knowledge of modern data pipelines, ETL/ELT, and architecture patterns.
- Experience with complex enterprise systems (ERPs, CRMs, HR platforms).
- Strong stakeholder influence and advisory skills.
- Ability to operate in ambiguous environments, shaping technical direction.
- Experience in Agile delivery frameworks.
- (Preferred) Exposure to AI initiatives, hybrid clouds, or large-scale digital transformation.
