Job Description: Data / BI Architect (Power BI, Semantic Modelling & Cloud)
Role Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled Data / BI Architect with strong expertise in data modelling, semantic modelling, and enterprise Power BI architecture. The role requires hands-on experience with Power BI Premium, Tabular Editor, DAX Studio, and GitHub-based BI DevOps, along with exposure to AWS data platforms (Redshift, S3, etc.).
Key Responsibilities
Data & Semantic Modelling
- Design and implement dimensional data models (star schema, fact/dimension design)
- Build and manage enterprise-scale semantic models (Power BI datasets / tabular models)
- Define modelling standards, reusable measures, hierarchies
- Implementation of best practices rules of semantic modeling (Tabular Editor BPA)

Power BI Architecture (Premium)
- Architect Power BI Premium solutions for large-scale analytics
- Develop advanced DAX and optimise performance
- Use Tabular Editor and DAX Studio for tuning and governance
- Keep updated on the latest Microsoft Power BI Product releases and industry trends
GitHub & BI DevOps
- Implement version control using GitHub for Power BI assets
- Establish CI/CD pipelines for BI deployments

- Ensure optimised data pipelines and BI consumption

- Implement OLS, RLS, security, and compliance
