Data Architect (Azure | Databricks | Lakehouse)

We're looking for an experienced Data Architect to join a multidisciplinary team delivering a new data service within a large-scale organisation.

You'll play a key role in shaping the data architecture, designing scalable solutions and ensuring data models, governance and documentation meet business and technical requirements. Working closely with engineers, analysts and stakeholders, you'll help create a robust, future-ready data platform.

What you'll do

  • Design conceptual, logical and physical data models
  • Define and evolve data architecture across Azure and Databricks platforms
  • Review existing systems, improve data structures and maintain architecture documentation
  • Support data engineers with ingestion, integrations and platform development
  • Establish data governance practices, standards and documentation processes
  • Ensure solutions meet functional, non-functional and organisational requirements
  • Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to deliver business outcomes
