Solution Data Architect – Connecting the Value Stream (CVS) Transformation
About the Role
We are looking for a Solution Data Architect to drive our Connecting the Value Stream (CVS) transformation by enabling a consistent, enterprise-aligned data architecture across systems.
In this role, you will:
- Design end-to-end data flows, canonical data models, and integration mappings aligned to the Canonical Data Model (CDM)
- Support a "capture once, use everywhere" approach
- Work closely with architects, integration teams, vendors, and governance teams to ensure
- High data quality
- Consistency
- Adherence to enterprise standards
Hybrid Working
You will be working in a blended environment – this includes Company offices, client sites, and your home – but may not work from home 100% of the time.
Key Responsibilities
Design & Modelling
- Define and design end-to-end data flows across systems and platforms
- Develop canonical and system-level data models aligned with the CDM
- Create integration mappings for loosely coupled, scalable system interactions
- Ensure data is captured once and reused across the full business lifecycle
Collaboration & Governance
- Act as the primary data architecture point of contact in programmes
- Collaborate with:
- Solution Architects
- Integration teams
- Platform vendors
- Data Governance teams
- Enforce enterprise data standards, governance policies, and best practices
- Support:
- Impact assessments
- Critical data ownership governance
- Embed data architecture best practices into delivery processes

Required Skills & Experience
Technical Expertise
- Hands-on experience as a Solution Data Architect
- Strong knowledge of:
- Data modelling
- Integration patterns
- Architectural design
- Familiarity with (desired, but not mandatory):
- Power Apps
- Dataverse
- Erwin data modelling tool
Stakeholder Engagement
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work effectively across:
- Functions
- Geographies
- Seniority levels
Leadership & Influence
- Ability to engage and influence stakeholders
- Confidence in constructively challenging opinions
- Professionalism and composure in complex situations
Industry Knowledge
- Advantageous experience in the Insurance or Financial Services sector
