Lead Data Architect | Capital Markets | Trade Surveillance

Location: London / Hybrid

Nagarro is supporting a major banking client on a Trade Surveillance transformation programme and is looking for an experienced Data Architect to lead a discovery engagement focused on data architecture, migration planning and surveillance data readiness. This is not an implementation role.

The focus is on understanding the current data landscape, assessing migration requirements, defining logical data architecture and producing a roadmap for a future Trade Surveillance platform rollout.

What you'll be doing

  • Assessing upstream systems, trade flows and source data feeding Trade Surveillance processes
  • Leading data discovery and data landscape assessments
  • Identifying critical data domains, lineage and key data elements
  • Conducting gap analysis between current and future state capabilities
  • Developing conceptual and logical data models
  • Assessing migration effort, dependencies and risks
  • Aligning findings with existing data governance frameworks
  • Working closely with business, data and technology stakeholders
  • Producing recommendations, priorities and delivery roadmaps

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
