We are looking for an experienced Overseas Testing & Commissioning Validation Expert to support global data center testing, commissioning, and project acceptance across Europe and North America.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate on-site testing, commissioning, and acceptance activities for overseas data center projects.
  • Supervise suppliers and third-party testing companies to ensure testing activities are executed according to project plans.
  • Ensure testing scope fully complies with technical specifications, contractual requirements, and customer acceptance standards.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to resolve on-site technical issues and drive timely issue closure.
  • Ensure all testing activities comply with safety regulations, quality standards, and customer delivery requirements.
  • Participate in Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) for critical equipment and systems.
  • Perform inspections based on standardized FAT procedures and acceptance checklists.
  • Verify key quality control items, including electrical safety, structural integrity, and thermal performance.
  • Conduct project quality inspections during implementation to identify risks and ensure corrective actions are completed.
  • Review supplier technical documentation, including BOMs, engineering drawings, test reports, compliance certificates, and related technical documents.
  • Support testing evidence collection, project documentation, testing schedule management, and acceptance reporting.
  • Prepare testing reports, quality findings, and project improvement recommendations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Data Center Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 3+ years of experience in Data Center Testing & Commissioning, QA/QC, Commissioning, Critical Facilities, or related engineering roles.
  • Experience managing FAT, SAT, commissioning, or project acceptance activities.
  • Familiar with critical infrastructure systems, including electrical, mechanical, HVAC, UPS, generator, cooling, and building systems.
  • Ability to review engineering drawings, technical documents, testing procedures, and supplier deliverables.
  • Experience coordinating suppliers, contractors, and cross-functional project teams.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and project coordination skills.
  • Good English communication skills; Chinese is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel internationally for approximately 30–50% of the time, primarily across Europe and North America.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience delivering hyperscale or enterprise data center projects.
  • Familiar with FAT, SAT, IST, Integrated Systems Testing, and commissioning processes.
  • Knowledge of international engineering standards, quality management systems, and commissioning best practices.
  • Experience working with EPC contractors, commissioning consultants, or equipment manufacturers.
  • PMP or relevant commissioning, quality, or engineering certifications are preferred.
