Job Title
Director – Data Centre Delivery Lead
About the Role
Join AECOM’s specialist Data Centre team delivering projects across the UK, Europe, and globally. Reporting to the Europe & India Leadership Team, the Director – Data Centre Delivery Lead will have responsibility for the design leadership and delivery of multiple data centre programmes, ensuring consistently high standards of technical quality, commercial performance, and client satisfaction across a complex global portfolio.
Location: Flexible within the UK / Ireland, near a hub of expertise in London, Dublin, or Manchester, with travel required across the UK & Ireland and Europe.
Responsibilities
Core Duties:
- Leadership & Team Direction:
- Lead and manage the UK & Ireland Data Centre delivery organisation, including a team of 100+ professionals across architectural, engineering, and specialist disciplines
- Provide strategic leadership, direction, and development for the team

Project Accountability:

Qualifications & Experience
Technical & Professional Background:
A Chartered Engineer (or equivalent) with:
- Strong technical background in the data centre sector
- Proven experience in leading large-scale, multidisciplinary teams and complex data-centre programmes
