We’re on the hunt for a Data Centre Engineering Supervisor to lead operations at a flagship facility in Slough – one of the most advanced data centres in the UK and growing!!

If you’ve got high-voltage expertise, thrive in mission-critical environments, and are passionate about leading teams and developing people, this role is your next big opportunity.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead and develop a team of skilled engineers across all critical and non-critical systems.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations to maintain 100% uptime across all systems and plant.
  • Act as the technical authority for maintenance, safety, and operational control.
  • Manage HV systems, including switching schedules, SOPs, and risk assessments.
  • Coordinate and supervise specialist contractors and suppliers.
  • Maintain the highest standards of health & safety, permits to work, and compliance documentation.
  • Deliver training and mentoring, ensuring all engineers meet and exceed technical standards.
  • Drive site culture – safety, quality, teamwork, and excellence.

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Electrician (Apprenticeship, HND, or City & Guilds).
  • 18th Edition Electrical Wiring Regulations – essential.
  • Proven experience in High Voltage (HV) systems.
  • Hands-on experience in critical environments (data centres, hospitals, pharma, or similar).
  • Strong understanding of UPS systems, standby power, and cooling.
  • Confident decision-maker with excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with BMS systems, permits to work, and safety procedures.
  • IOSH or equivalent Health & Safety qualification preferred.
