As our Data Centre Engineer

You will deliver IMACD Services from small alterations such as patching and fault finding through to large and involved upgrades such as decommissioning and recommissioning servers.

Data Centre Engineers work on shifts that contribute towards providing support services 24x7x365 and report to the local Service Delivery Manager.

This role will require working from a Primary site (Slough or Woking) as well as to cover locations across Greater & Central London.

Proactively suggest and seek improvements and efficiencies in all everyday tasks and processes.

Support the DCM, DCS & SDM in providing an excellent service to the client.

What we’re looking for

  • Experience of working in high-risk environments and Data Centres
  • Sound Knowledge of Infrastructure Technologies & Networking Concepts
  • Competent in MS Office and Helpdesk/Service Delivery Applications
  • A reliable individual
  • The ability to work under pressure.
  • A flexible approach to shift patterns
  • The ability to communicate clearly at all levels.
  • Strong organisational, interpersonal, and administrative skills
