Team/Role Overview
The Markets Use Case Execution Team, within Markets Data Risk Team, is charged with ensuring the timely execution of deliverables to design, define and implement data controls across Markets in partnership with Data Managers, Technology, Data Stewards and Enterprise Data Office. The team is responsible for driving data control transformation in the underlying risk and control processes to manage poor Data Quality risk.
What you’ll do
- Partner with Markets 1LOD Risk and Control groups and asset class Data Domain owners to assess existing Data Quality controls and recommend improvements, including control design, operating model, monitoring, measurement and governance cadences
- Facilitate and monitor adherence to Data Quality dimensions, including completeness, accuracy, timeliness and consistency
- Conduct control assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of existing data-related controls
- Recommend and support implementation of new or enhanced controls to address identified control gaps
- Partner with Control Owners and Business Stakeholders to manage data exceptions, including remediation planning and escalation processes
- Tracking the progression of Use Case execution, coordinating with relevant stakeholders, escalating where needed, and providing management level status reports
- Monitor and report on key Data Quality metrics and indicators, including prioritization of Data Quality issues

What we’ll need from you
- Significant experience in relevant fields or with a risk and control role within First Line and/or Second Line experience or in an associated consulting role, in Markets or Financial Services
- Significant experience in Data Governance, risk & control, Data Quality, or data management roles within financial services or similarly regulated industry
- Working knowledge of Data Quality dimensions and associated monitoring or profiling tools, such as Collibra
- Experience in control assessments, control testing, and/or implementation of risk mitigation actions
- Understanding of exception management processes, and ability to interpret and escalate Data Quality or Governance issues
