Data Director
Interim Data Director - PE backed business - London - Contract - OUTSIDE IR35
A PE backed business are undertaking a major Data Reset programme, transitioning from fragmented, report-led data usage to a data product–driven operating model.
The strategy is defined and gaining traction. The next critical step is to:
- Operationalise the Target Operating Model (TOM)
- Drive delivery across multiple domains (Finance, Growth, Ops, etc.)
- Establish governance, ownership, and prioritisation discipline

This role exists to take ownership of delivery and implementation, freeing up senior leadership to focus on strategy, architecture, and ExCo alignment.
This is a senior, hands-on delivery leadership role responsible for:
- Turning the Data Strategy and Operating Model into reality
- Owning programme execution across Data Reset
- Establishing clear ownership, governance, and delivery discipline
- Aligning Hub (platform) and Spoke (business domain) teams
