About The Role
The position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the planning, development, and management of vital highway infrastructure projects. The role involves overseeing project execution, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and collaborating with various stakeholders including government agencies, contractors, and local communities. The successful candidate will be instrumental in driving initiatives that enhance road safety, reduce environmental impact, and improve overall transportation efficiency. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent project management skills and a strong understanding of civil engineering principles and infrastructure development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or a related field.
- Master’s degree or professional certifications such as PMP or equivalent are preferred.
- Proven experience of at least 5 years in infrastructure project management, particularly within highway or transportation sectors.
- Strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams.
- Familiarity with relevant regulations, safety standards, and environmental policies.

Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, design, and execution of highway projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Coordinate with government agencies, contractors, and consultants to facilitate project development and resolve any issues that arise during construction.
- Ensure all projects adhere to safety, quality, and environmental standards, conducting regular inspections and audits.
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocations to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
- Monitor project progress and prepare detailed reports for senior management and stakeholders.
- Implement innovative solutions and best practices to improve project delivery and operational performance.
- Promote a safety-first culture across all project activities and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Engage with local communities and stakeholders to address concerns and foster positive relationships.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing project outcomes and incorporating lessons learned into future projects.
