The Role
- Design, develop, test, and support data collection, integration, and ETL applications.
- Model data requirements, data sources, and data flows to bring structure to projects.
- Define how data is created, mastered, and destroyed to control its lifecycle.
- Utilise various products for data collection, integration, storage, visualisation, and governance.
- Define metadata for searchability and governance of unstructured data.
- Contribute to systems that impact the security of the UK.

What You'll Need
- Experience in Data Engineering, Analysis, or Science, with strong programming language skills.
- Proficiency in Data Engineering tools, ETL, Python, and Big Data Applications.
- Demonstrable ability in previous technology usage, with adaptability and willingness to learn.
- Good understanding of Open Source software for Data Engineering and platform evaluation.
- Specialist knowledge of database concepts (relational, NoSQL, 'big data') and modelling techniques.
- Desirable experience in Cyber Security and Intelligence domains.
