Key Responsibilities
- Manage and integrate API connections and external FTP data feeds into internal systems and databases
- Develop, enhance, and maintain data pipelines, tools, and automations using Python, SQL, and Excel/VBA
- Build and support dashboards and reporting systems to enhance visibility for trading, risk, and operations
- Maintain and improve infrastructure hosted on Microsoft Azure, including virtual machines and storage environments
- Use Git for version control and code management
- Help implement and onboard leading AI tools and systems
- Support business users across the fund, ensuring systems and processes run smoothly
- Collaborate closely with different teams to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions
- Contribute ideas and take ownership of projects that enhance automation, scalability, and efficiency across the firm

Desired Skills and Experience
Required Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM field (Computer Science, Engineering, Maths, Physics, etc.)
- 1-4 years' experience in a technical, quantitative or data-focused role
- Strong skills in:
- Python (data processing, scripting, API integration)
- SQL (data manipulation and querying)
- Excel/VBA (reporting and automation)
- Data engineering (APIs, FTP processes)
- Understanding of:
- Microsoft Azure (VMs, storage, permissions)
- Version control (Git)
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- A proactive, self-directed approach to work and the ability to thrive in a small, dynamic team

Desirable:
- Experience with dashboarding or BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Streamlit)
- Familiarity with Linux scripting or workflow orchestration
- Exposure to financial markets or investment operations
