Primary Skill Area
Power BI Capabilities
- Ability to design and plan scalable BI solutions
- Experience with requirements gathering
- Analytical thinking for translating data into informative reports and visuals
- Expertise working with relational and multidimensional database schemas
- Expertise in building Semantic layers / Cubes in Tabular Model / SSAS
- Knowledge in Microsoft BI Stack
- Expertise in Power query and DAX queries
- Strong experience in designing and developing Power BI dashboards
- Strong in SQL knowledge
- Developing visual reports, KPI scorecards, and dashboards using Power BI desktop
- Follow and enhance BI standards and best practices across the team
- Ensure optimal end user performance by establishing overall system performance
- Capable of implementing row-level security for organizational data
- Knowledge in creation of Power BI gateway for datasets published in Power BI service

- Experience working with Microsoft Fabric components such as:
- Lakehouse
- Data Warehouse
- Dataflows Gen2
- Pipelines
- Ability to design end-to-end data solutions using Fabric’s unified analytics platform
- Experience integrating Power BI with Fabric semantic models
- Understanding of OneLake architecture and best practices for data organization and security
- Familiarity with Real-Time Analytics and Direct Lake mode (preferred)
- Knowledge of Fabric capacity management and performance optimization
