Data Engineer / DataStage Engineer
Location: UK Remote Type: 6+ Months Contract

The Successful Candidate Will Be Responsible For
Developing & maintaining DataStage pipelines, utilising their expertise in data integration & manipulation, to transform data from source to target model.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain DataStage pipelines to support the project.
- Apply knowledge of MOSAIC and IBM 10-step Data Migration Methodologies to ensure efficient data migration processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to:
- Understand requirements.
- Deliver solutions that meet business needs.
- Utilise key technologies:
- DataStage
- XML
- XSLT
- Jira for:
- Effective project management.
- Issue tracking.
- Ensure testability:
- Test solutions.
- Run jobs.

Required Skills
- Proven experience in DataStage Designer.
- Familiarity with:
- MOSAIC.
- IBM 10-step Data Migration Methodologies (or equivalent).
- Strong proficiency in:
- XML.
- XSLT for data transformation tasks.
- Proficient use of Jira for:
- Project management.
- Issue tracking.
- Excellent communication skills to:
- Collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Proactive approach to:
- Problem-solving.
- Continuous learning and improvement.
