Location: UK Remote Type: 6+ Months Contract

The Successful Candidate Will Be Responsible For

Developing & maintaining DataStage pipelines, utilising their expertise in data integration & manipulation, to transform data from source to target model.


Roles & Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain DataStage pipelines to support the project.
  • Apply knowledge of MOSAIC and IBM 10-step Data Migration Methodologies to ensure efficient data migration processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to:
    • Understand requirements.
    • Deliver solutions that meet business needs.
  • Utilise key technologies:
    • DataStage
    • XML
    • XSLT
    • Jira for:
      • Effective project management.
      • Issue tracking.
  • Ensure testability:
    • Test solutions.
    • Run jobs.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in DataStage Designer.
  • Familiarity with:
    • MOSAIC.
    • IBM 10-step Data Migration Methodologies (or equivalent).
  • Strong proficiency in:
    • XML.
    • XSLT for data transformation tasks.
  • Proficient use of Jira for:
    • Project management.
    • Issue tracking.
  • Excellent communication skills to:
    • Collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
  • Proactive approach to:
    • Problem-solving.
    • Continuous learning and improvement.
