About The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Software Engineer to join our dynamic development team at Microlise. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining innovative software solutions that support our transportation management systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand client requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and deliver high-quality software products. Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in software development, preferably in logistics, transportation, or supply chain management.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python.
- Familiarity with web technologies, cloud platforms, and database management systems.
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional growth.
- Prior experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement scalable software solutions aligned with business needs and technical requirements.
- Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and other stakeholders to gather and refine project specifications.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code, adhering to coding standards and best practices.
- Conduct code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure software quality and performance.
- Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Maintain and improve existing applications, troubleshoot issues, and implement enhancements.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve technical skills and contribute innovative ideas.
- Support deployment, integration, and post-implementation activities to ensure seamless delivery and operational stability.
