📊 Data Engineer | £40,000 | Hybrid (3 days per week in Central Stockport) We're looking for a Data Engineer to join a growing business that's investing heavily in its data and reporting capabilities.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys turning business questions into meaningful insights, building robust reporting solutions, and helping shape a modern data platform.
You'll work closely with senior stakeholders to develop trusted reporting, create reusable KPI frameworks, and support the rollout and adoption of a cloud-based data warehouse environment.

🔹 What you'll be doing: • Building and maintaining Power BI datasets and semantic models • Developing dashboards and reporting across key business areas • Working with SQL and cloud-based data platforms • Creating and governing business-wide KPI definitions • Supporting self-service reporting and analytics adoption • Improving data quality and reporting reliability • Collaborating with stakeholders to understand and solve business challenges
🔹 What we're looking for: • Strong Power BI experience, including data modelling and DAX • Excellent SQL skills • Experience working with cloud data warehouses (Snowflake, Synapse, Redshift, BigQuery or similar) • Ability to communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders • A proactive, curious mindset with strong ownership and problem-solving skills
