Data Engineer - AWS
Salary: £60,000
Location: Manchester - Hybrid
Maxwell Bond have partnered with a Manchester based technology and market research company who are looking for a Data Engineer to join the team on a permanent basis.
As Data Engineer, you'll work on a mixture of real time and batch ETL jobs on a large and complex dataset. You'll be a subject matter expert for data pipeline and working with stakeholders to understand requirements.
What You’ll Do as Data Engineer:
- Work on complex data projects, using tools such as Apache Spark, Athena and AWS.
- Review and measure the performance of the data pipeline, identifying improvements in design, architecture and tooling.
- Work with stakeholders and support production systems running the deployed data software.

What We’re Looking For:
- 4+ years' experience in a Data Engineer role, with proven experience on AWS.
- Strong skills in SQL, Python, and Apache Spark (Scala or Python).
- Knowledge of software development best practices and ability to problem-solve whilst working on large, complex data sets.
