About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join a rapidly expanding organization that is heavily investing in its data infrastructure. This role offers a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of building a modern, Azure-based data platform from scratch. The successful candidate will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data solutions that support the company's data-driven initiatives. Working closely with various business stakeholders, the Data Engineer will help shape the company's data strategy, ensuring the delivery of robust, efficient, and secure data pipelines and warehouses. This role is ideal for someone passionate about data engineering, cloud technology, and making a tangible impact within a forward-thinking organization.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise and a proactive approach to data engineering. Essential qualifications include:
- Proficiency in SQL and Python
- Significant experience working within the Azure Data Platform environment
- Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric is highly desirable
- Proven track record in developing data warehouses and ETL pipelines
- Solid understanding of data modeling principles
- Experience with Power BI for data visualization and reporting
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Responsibilities
- Design and develop a modern Azure-based data platform tailored to organizational needs.
- Create scalable and efficient ETL pipelines and data integrations to facilitate data movement and transformation.
- Build and maintain cloud-based data warehouses, ensuring data quality and security.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver tailored data solutions.
- Support data governance initiatives, ensuring compliance with best practices and industry standards.
- Participate in the organization’s data modernization journey by implementing innovative data engineering techniques.
- Monitor and optimize data pipelines for performance and reliability.
- Document data processes and contribute to technical documentation for future reference and team knowledge sharing.
