About The Role
This role focuses on building data foundations to underpin customer data, marketing analytics, and journey orchestration. You’ll collaborate with analytical, marketing operations (MarTech), and business stakeholders to deliver:
- Scalable, reliable, and trustworthy data solutions
- Improved customer outcomes
- Decision-making backed by data
Responsibilities
Data Architecture & Pipeline Engineering
- Build and maintain customer, campaign, and operational data pipelines that feed into the Customer Data Platform (CDP)
- Ensure data is accurate for analytics purposes

Marketing Data Model Design
- Develop scalable data models supporting:
- Segmentation
- Lifecycle analytics
- Attribution modeling
- KPI frameworks
CDP Enablement & Identity Management
- Partner with MarTech and Analytics to enhance:
- Identity resolution
- Consent management logic
- Data quality within the CDP
Journey Orchestration Data Readiness
- Enable event streams, trigger logic, and monitoring for accurate, timely customer journeys
Analytics & Dashboarding Enablement
- Provide structured datasets and semantic layers for:
- Reporting
- Dashboard optimisation (aligned with KPI frameworks)
Data Governance & Quality Assurance
- Maintain data quality, lineage tracking, and compliance with:
- GDPR
- PII handling standards
Collaboration & Strategic Influence
- Work closely with the Senior Marketing Analyst to align technical and business priorities
- Translate technical concepts into accessible business insights
Operational Excellence & Standards
- Implement best practices in:
- Automation
- Observability
- Continuous improvement
Requirements
Technical Skills & Experience

Fluency in:
- Advanced SQL queries
- ETL/ELT frameworks
- Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP)

Proficient in:
- Data modelling and pipeline orchestration using:
- Tools like Airflow, Data Factory, or dbt
