Our client, a leading global hedge fund, is seeking a Data Engineer to join an experienced team. You will be responsible for managing the data that powers all aspects of the business, whether that's investment, business or technical.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a technical stakeholder, evaluating new and existing data products and liaising directly with vendors.
  • Translating vendor products into optimized datasets ready for trading system consumption.
  • Design and maintain automated data quality tests to ensure all datasets meet the rigorous standards of quantitative strategies.
  • Ensure the reliability of day-to-day operations by monitoring pipelines and resolving real-time technical issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a STEM discipline from a Russel Group University or Equivalent.
  • 4+ years of Data Engineering experience.
  • Proven experience working with large-scale datasets.
  • Strong collaborative skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly.
