Turn Data into Insight. Turn Insight into Impact.

At Turning Point, we believe data has the power to change lives.

As one of England's leading health and social care organisations, we support thousands of people every day to overcome complex challenges and achieve positive outcomes. Behind every service we deliver is data that helps us understand needs, improve performance and make better decisions.

We're looking for a talented Data Engineer / BI Developer to join our growing Data & Analytics team and play a key role in shaping the future of data across Turning Point.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working across the full data lifecycle—from building robust data pipelines and modern data models to creating impactful dashboards and delivering meaningful insight. You'll help drive our data transformation journey as we continue to invest in cloud technologies and modern analytics platforms, including Microsoft Fabric.

If you're passionate about turning complex data into actionable intelligence and want your work to make a genuine difference to people's lives, we'd love to hear from you.

This is a fixed-term contract for 12 months.

The Role

As a Data Engineer / BI Developer, you'll work with colleagues across the organisation to build trusted, scalable and innovative data solutions that support decision-making at every level.

You'll have the opportunity to:

  • Design and develop data pipelines that bring together information from multiple sources.
  • Create and optimise databases, data models and reporting solutions that provide meaningful business insight.
  • Build engaging Tableau and Power BI dashboards that help stakeholders understand performance and identify opportunities.
  • Partner with teams across the organisation to understand business challenges and deliver data-driven solutions.
  • Help improve data quality, reporting standards and analytics best practice.
  • Contribute to the development of our cloud-based data platform and future analytics capabilities.
  • Support data governance, security and compliance requirements, ensuring data is trusted and well managed.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
