Data Engineer - DataStage Engineer

Data Engineer - DataStage Engineer

Location: UK - Remote

Your Roles & Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain DataStage pipelines to support the MOD project.
  • Apply your knowledge of MOSAIC or IBM 10-step Data Migration Methodologies to ensure efficient data migration processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
  • Utilise key technologies such as DataStage, XML, XSLT, and Jira for effective project management and issue tracking.
  • Service areas: Hybrid Cloud & Data, Big Data Services

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in DataStage Designer.
  • Familiarity with MOSAIC, IBM 10-step Data Migration Methodologies, or equivalent data migration methodologies.
  • Strong proficiency in XML & XSLT for data transformation tasks.
  • Proficient use of Jira for project management & issue tracking.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to continuous learning & improvement.
  • Ability to test the solution and run jobs.
