We're partnering with a growing public sector organisation that is investing heavily in its data capability and expanding its data engineering function.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Data Engineer to join an established team responsible for building and enhancing a modern cloud-based data platform. You'll play a key role in integrating data from a wide range of third-party sources, helping to create reliable, scalable, and well-governed datasets that support business intelligence, analytics, and future AI-driven initiatives.

The organisation is undergoing a significant period of growth and transformation, offering the chance to influence how data engineering practices, processes, and standards evolve. You'll have the autonomy to shape solutions, contribute ideas, and make a visible impact within a collaborative and people-focused environment.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Designing and developing scalable data models and transformation processes.
  • Building and maintaining automated ETL/ELT pipelines for large and complex datasets.
  • Integrating data from multiple external sources, APIs, and third-party platforms.

  • Contributing to the ongoing evolution of the organisation's cloud data platform.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
