Data Engineer | London (3 days onsite) | £75,000 - £85,000

Peaple Talent are working exclusively with an innovative organisation in the UK energy sector that's investing heavily in its data platform and looking to hire a Data Engineer.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing engineering team where you'll design and build scalable data pipelines, develop ETL/ELT processes, create robust data models, and help shape the future of the company's cloud data platform.

What you'll be doing:

  • Design, develop and maintain data ingestion pipelines using open-source frameworks and tools
  • Build and optimise ETL and ELT processes for small to large-scale data processing requirements
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, analysts, engineers and product teams to understand data requirements and translate them into robust data solutions

You'll ideally have:

  • Strong SQL and Python (Pandas, NumPy or Spark)
  • Experience building and optimising data pipelines
  • Knowledge of AI tools
  • A passion for building scalable, high-quality data solutions
