Job Purpose
Support the development and management of our Strategic Partnerships by providing effective sales and administrative support to the Head of Strategic Partnerships and Strategic Account Managers.
This role:
- Plays a key part in driving customer satisfaction and revenue growth
- Requires a proactive approach to handling customer communications
- Ensures effective internal processes are managed professionally
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Account Management Support
- Support Strategic Account Managers in managing individual Strategic Partner Account Plans
- Regularly review plans to ensure updates
- Raise overdue actions or concerns promptly with relevant managers
- Coordinate and schedule meetings, calls, and events
- Prepare meeting agendas, minutes, presentations, proposals, and other partnership-related documents
Client Relationship & Engagement
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key Strategic Partner contacts
- Proactively identify service improvement opportunities
- Assist Marketing Team in planning and executing:
- Partnership events
- Webinars
- Workshops
Compliance & Policy Adherence
- Strict adherence to MDIS selling practices, methods, policies, and procedures
- Strict compliance with FCA rules and external regulatory standards
- Full understanding of MDIS company policies
- Maintains up-to-date product/service knowledge for effective client interactions

Skills & Experience
Sales & Client Relationship Skills
- Strong customer service and relationship-building abilities
- Ability to use initiative, prioritise, and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), with ability to persuade and influence
- Confident liaison with:
- Clients
- Senior stakeholders
- Technical teams
- Proactive follow-up and client engagement techniques
- Resilience – ability to handle rejection and maintain persistent engagement
Administrative & Organisational Skills
- Self-motivated, comfortable with unsupervised work
- Strong planning and prioritisation skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks with effective prioritisation
- High attention to detail
- Experience in Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Accurate data entry and record-keeping
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Sales Support & Quotation Management
- Understanding of sales processes and pipeline management
- Familiarity with CRM systems or internal databases
- Ability to:
- Support sales teams with reporting and updates
- Collate and analyse data
Compliance & Regulatory Awareness
- Knowledge of FCA rules and compliance standards
- Ability to adhere to regulated selling practices
Team Collaboration & Communication
- Strong ability to work with cross-functional teams (Sales, Marketing, Surveying Network)
- Effective interpersonal skills and team-oriented mindset
- Regular reporting and issue escalation to management
Product Knowledge & Continuous Learning
- Ability to explain complex product offerings clearly to clients
