Data Engineer
We're looking for a motivated Data Engineer with 2-5 years experience + to join our technology team, helping deliver data solutions that support climate change research and commercial data initiatives.
The role is based in Richmond, with an expectation of two days per week onsite.
You'll be responsible for:
- Developing and maintaining data pipelines using Microsoft Fabric, Synapse, SQL, and Python.
- Building notebooks, scripts, and automated data processing solutions.
- Supporting data ingestion, transformation, and reporting across the platform.
- Monitoring data quality, troubleshooting issues, and optimising performance.
- Working closely with experienced engineers to deliver secure, scalable, and reliable data solutions.

We're looking for someone who has:
- A solid foundation in Python and SQL.
- An interest in modern cloud-based data platforms and data engineering.
- A proactive approach and willingness to learn new technologies and best practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
