Data Engineer Python ETL SaaS

Data Engineer (Python ETL AWS SaaS) Remote UK to £95k

Are you a Cloud savvy Data Engineer seeking an opportunity to work on complex, Greenfield systems using the latest tech?

You could be progressing your career at a hugely successful European car insurance tech company as they expand their UK presence.

As a Data Engineer you'll work with vast amounts of real-time data, enabling an insurance quote to be made to the consumer within 60 seconds, using just 4 clicks. You will bridge the gap between Data Scientists / Data Analysts and Software Engineers; from shaping requirements, through designing and building well engineered data pipelines and data warehousing solutions to support business growth in the UK using a modern tech stack that you'll be able to influence.

There are multiple opportunities across different teams, so you'll be able to play to your strengths and pick up new skills along the way.

Location / WFH

The company is a big advocate of flexible working and prides itself on DEI; you can go into the London office as often or as little as desired and can work fully remotely from anywhere in England; you can also work at times that suit you.

About you

  • You have strong Data Engineering experience
  • You have strong Python coding skills
  • You have experience of building ETL data pipelines
  • You have experience with AWS (or other cloud platform, Azure, GCP)
  • You have experience working within tech or SaaS companies
  • You are degree educated, Computer Science or similar tech or numerate discipline
  • You're collaborative with great communication skills
