About the Role
AutoProtect is looking to welcome a skilled Data Engineer to their central team. The role involves optimizing data processes, adding new data sources, and creating actionable insights. The team is dedicated to providing trusted data integrated across all products and services, aiming to enhance operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and develop proof-of-concept data solutions.
- Construct data queries and pipelines using PySpark, Python, SQL, Databricks, and AWS.
- Collaborate to design pipeline changes and improve data assets.
- Engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to build data models.
- Ensure services are well-integrated, reliable, and maintainable.
- Provide technical documentation to support proposed solutions.
- Explore new tools and techniques to enhance data pipelines.

Requirements
- Experience in similar roles as Data Engineer or Data Analyst.
- Proficiency in ETL and Data Warehousing.
- Experience with SQL or PySpark.
- Understanding of cloud data solutions, especially AWS.
- Knowledge of data flow between systems.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Python or R programming.
- Familiarity with Financial Systems Support or ServiceNow Administration.
