The Data Engineer role is pivotal in supporting the data architecture, ensuring reliability and availability for business operations.
Responsibilities
- Deliver scalable and reliable data pipelines
- Design detailed schemas and data contracts
- Ensure data quality across relational, graph, and no-sql databases
- Develop data engineering principles and practices
- Enhance data governance, security, and compliance in collaboration with technical leadership
- Support the analytics team by providing necessary data
- Collaborate on solving critical business problems

Requirements
- Extensive experience with databases
- Experience with ETL pipelines, DBT, Data Mesh
- Cloud databases (Google Big Query, AWS Redshift)
- Linux/Unix OS, terminal and scripting
- Experience with container technologies (Docker, Podman)
- Structured data types (CSV, JSON, XML)
- ISO query and data standards
- Development practices (Source/Revision control, TDD, CI/CD, Scrum)

Additional Skills Beneficial
- Geospatial data experience
- Programming languages experience (Python, Bash/Shell, Java)
