The Role
We are looking for Data Entry Specialists to join our Expert Network and contribute to training and evaluating cutting-edge AI models with real-world data expertise. If you meet the criteria, you’ll complete a quick 10- to 15-minute test to assess your suitability. Upon success, you’ll join as a Prolific participant, earning money to train and evaluate AI models.
Researchers valuing your expertise may pay up to $25 per hour. Tasks typically require one hour of uninterrupted work, though many are shorter.
What You’ll Bring
- Professional Experience: Years of experience in high-volume data entry, data processing, database management, or records administration.
- Accuracy & Attention to Detail: A proven record of maintaining high accuracy rates in large datasets, with exceptional ability to spot inconsistencies, duplicates, and formatting errors.
- Speed & Efficiency: High-level typing speed and capacity to process structured and unstructured data quickly, without sacrificing quality.
- Data Literacy: Familiarity with data formats, validation rules, and the ability to identify logical or factual errors in AI-generated outputs.
- Communication Skills: Strong written English proficiency to assess clarity and correctness in AI-generated text.
- Language Proficiency: Multilingual capabilities are a major plus, particularly for improving localized dataset accuracy.
- Payment Setup: A PayPal account to receive compensation from our clients.

Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate AI Data Outputs: Review AI-generated data entries, structured records, and extractions for accuracy, completeness, and formatting consistency.
- Simulate Data Entry Scenarios: Create realistic edge cases (e.g., ambiguous fields, messy inputs) to test how AI processes unpredictable data.
- Audit AI-Generated Datasets: Detect and correct errors in categorization, labelling, or field mapping against data quality standards.
- Annotation & Labelling: Tag and classify data samples to teach AI correct structures, formats, and validation rules.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure AI outputs meet professional accuracy benchmarks when compared to established data entry standards.
Key Technologies
- Data Tools: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, Airtable, SQL, or Access.
- Data Management Systems: Experience with CRM, ERP systems, or document management tools.
- Documentation: Knowledge of Confluence, Notion, or equivalent platforms for referencing data standards.
