DATA EXECUTIVE
Diversified UK & Europe Brighton, UK Full-time, Permanent Salary starting from £33,000 per annum
THE OPPORTUNITY
We're looking for a detail-driven Data Executive to join our Technology Services team in Brighton. This is a hands-on role at the heart of our data operations. You'll be keeping our Salesforce CRM system updated, supporting colleagues across the business, and working to maintain and improve the systems that support our events portfolio. WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
Data Management & Quality
- Monitoring the Salesforce system and conducting regular data cleansing to comply with data protection requirements
- Managing customer requests for personal data, opt-outs, and deletions
- Keeping page layouts current and user-friendly
- Writing and updating database documentation
Supporting the Team
- Managing user onboarding and offboarding, including setting up profiles, access levels, and system access
- Training new starts on systems, case raising, and sales contracts
- Building reports and extracting data for business and analytical purposes
- Acting as a go-to contact for Salesforce troubleshooting and user support
- Creating guides for new tasks and saving them on SharePoint

Projects & Development
- Collaborating with third-party developers to supervise new CRM features and implementations
- Testing developer work in sandboxes to catch errors before go-live
- Facilitating the launch of event registration forms and ensuring data is captured correctly
- Creating events, reports, and dashboards within the CRM
Data Import/Export & Connectors
- Importing registrations and exhibitor data, mapping fields correctly, and testing in sandboxes
- Monitoring CRM storage thresholds and identifying opportunities to improve data entry processes
- Administering connected tools like PandaDoc, OwnBackup, and Cloudingo
Communication & Collaboration
- Translating technical language into plain English for non-technical colleagues
- Informing staff of system changes, issues, and resolutions
- Contributing to Salesforce super-user meetings and staff-wide newsletters on process updates
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
We prioritise the right personality and skills over a perfect CV. Ideal candidates include:
You’ll likely have qualifications up to an A-level standard or equivalent, with substantial experience in a data, administrative, or technology-related role, or equivalent.
- Comfortable working with a customer management system—Salesforce experience is a plus, though not mandatory
- Proficient in Excel for data manipulation, including formulas and filtering; familiarisation with Power BI is preferable
- Strong commitment to accuracy and keen eye for details
- Precise, process-minded, with a habit of double-checking work
- Clear communicator who can engage with developers while simplifying technical issues for non-technical stakeholders
- Proactive and solution-focused, anticipating challenges before escalation
- Organised, reliable, and adept at multitasking
- Inquisitive, and willing to voice questions when unsure or encountering anomalies
