Overview
Data Compliance & Controls Lead
Location: London (Hybrid)
We are hiring a Data Compliance & Controls Lead to play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality, accuracy, and reliability of paid media data across a global ecosystem. This is an opportunity to lead a high-impact function that connects data, technology, and people—helping teams make confident decisions based on trusted information. Working closely with market teams, analysts, and stakeholders, you'll create scalable processes, drive continuous improvement, and help shape a culture of data excellence.
Responsibilities
What you'll be doing:
- Lead the end-to-end operation of data compliance and control processes, ensuring activities are documented, consistent, auditable, and scalable.
- Manage and support an offshore team, driving high-quality delivery against agreed service levels and operational standards.
- Partner with market teams to ensure timely, accurate data submissions and help create a positive and collaborative approach to compliance.
- Oversee plan setup and monthly actuals ingestion within MediaTools, maintaining accurate, complete, and reliable data.
- Monitor data quality through structured validation and quality control processes, identifying issues before they impact reporting and insights.
- Conduct root cause investigations into data discrepancies, coordinating resolution across markets, platforms, and technical teams.
- Own and publish the Data Quality Scorecard, providing clear visibility of performance trends and improvement opportunities across markets.
Qualifications
Skills we're looking for:
- Experience managing data quality, governance, compliance, or operational control processes within a data-driven environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate issues and identify practical solutions.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, capable of building trusted relationships across multiple teams.
- Experience working with operational reporting, quality assurance frameworks, and service-level management.
- Ability to balance attention to detail with a broader understanding of business priorities and outcomes.
- A collaborative mindset, with experience working across technical and non-technical teams to deliver improvements.
- Confidence managing multiple priorities while maintaining a structured, organised, and quality-focused approach.
