Qualifications

- Strong background in data governance, including experience designing data policies, standards, and stewardship models.
- Proficiency in data management and operations, such as data quality management, metadata management, and master data management.
- Experience with data tools and technologies, including data catalog solutions, databases, and analytics platforms.
- Knowledge of regulatory and compliance frameworks relevant to data in the energy or related sectors.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data concepts into clear guidance and training materials.
- Bachelor’s degree in data management, information systems, computer science, engineering, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., DAMA, data governance) are an advantage.
- Experience in the energy, oil & gas, or industrial sectors is beneficial.
- Comfort working in a remote environment and managing priorities across multiple projects and stakeholders.
