  • Strong background in data governance, including experience designing data policies, standards, and stewardship models.
  • Proficiency in data management and operations, such as data quality management, metadata management, and master data management.
  • Experience with data tools and technologies, including data catalog solutions, databases, and analytics platforms.
  • Knowledge of regulatory and compliance frameworks relevant to data in the energy or related sectors.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data concepts into clear guidance and training materials.
  • Bachelor’s degree in data management, information systems, computer science, engineering, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., DAMA, data governance) are an advantage.
  • Experience in the energy, oil & gas, or industrial sectors is beneficial.
  • Comfort working in a remote environment and managing priorities across multiple projects and stakeholders.
