We are looking for an experienced Data Governance Specialist to support a major customer transformation programme for a leading organisation within a highly regulated industry. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in a large-scale CRM and billing platform transformation, ensuring high standards of data governance, quality, compliance and integrity throughout the programme.
The Opportunity
You will be responsible for embedding data governance across a customer data migration from Salesforce to Microsoft Dynamics 365, while supporting the design and governance of a new charging and billing solution built on Microsoft Power Platform. Working closely with business stakeholders, delivery teams and product owners, you will help establish trusted, compliant and high-quality data that supports both operational excellence and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and implement data governance standards across CRM migration activities.
- Support data mapping, transformation rules and validation between Salesforce and Dynamics 365.
- Ensure data quality, integrity and completeness before, during and after migration.
- Identify and manage data risks, issues and remediation activities.
- Support SIT and UAT with data validation and reconciliation.
- Establish governance for charging and billing data within Microsoft Power Platform.
- Define data standards, business rules and governance processes for customer, charging and billing data.
- Develop and monitor customer data quality metrics, including completeness, duplication and accuracy.
- Support the creation of a trusted single customer view across multiple platforms.
- Maintain metadata, business glossaries and data lineage using Microsoft Purview and related Microsoft technologies.
- Partner with business and technology teams to embed governance into solution design.
- Ensure compliance with GDPR and regulatory data requirements.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
