LTVS Data Input Coordinator
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented LTVS Data Input Coordinator to join our team in the Respiratory Department at Wythenshawe Hospital. The role involves maintaining and updating the Long-Term Ventilation Service (LTVS) database, completing paperwork, and ensuring efficient communication between various departments including IT, finance, and medical engineering.
The successful candidate will handle data input tasks, manage inquiries related to the LTVS database, and support the tracking of incoming medical equipment. You will also provide clerical support, liaise with healthcare professionals, and ensure data accuracy in line with relevant policies.
You may also assist in training new staff, manage cross-cover duties within the team, and participate in audits when required. This role requires excellent organisational skills, proficiency in office procedures, and a commitment to maintaining high data protection standards.
This is a part-time role (30 hours), reporting to the Team Leader for Long Term Ventilation, with opportunities to grow your knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare systems.
Job Responsibilities
As an LTVS Data Input Coordinator, your primary duties will include:

- Inputting and updating data in the LTVS database to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Handling DEVA finance paperwork and liaising with the finance department.
- Responding to inquiries related to the database and coordinating with LTVS staff, IT, finance, and medical engineering teams.
- Tracking and logging medical equipment, ensuring all relevant information is recorded.
- Communicating with healthcare professionals, such as GPs, to ensure accurate patient data recording.
- Assisting with clerical tasks including typing and distributing letters and reports for the Outreach team.
- Supporting the induction and training of new staff members.
- Ensuring data protection compliance and adherence to Trust policies.
- Providing cross-cover support for colleagues and participating in departmental audits when needed.
