Finance Data and Insights Consultant West Midlands - 1 day in office £55,000 plus bonus and benefits

This is an opportunity to join a high profile finance transformation programme where data, insight and automation are central to future success. You will play a key role in shaping how finance teams use data to support decision making, moving beyond reporting into true business partnering and insight generation.

The Role You will act as a bridge between technical data capability and finance stakeholders, combining analytics, reporting and business engagement.

• Support finance and FP&A teams with data driven decision making • Build and improve Power BI dashboards and self service reporting solutions • Use SQL to interrogate and analyse complex datasets • Translate analytical outputs into clear business recommendations • Partner with stakeholders to improve data literacy and adoption • Contribute to forecasting, planning and performance analysis • Support automation initiatives and continuous improvement • Help shape the use of AI and emerging technologies within finance • Act as an internal consultant, influencing how data is used across the function

Your Skills and Experience • Strong SQL capability and hands on experience working with data • Experience building dashboards and reporting solutions in Power BI • Proven ability to generate insight and influence decision making • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage non technical stakeholders
