Data Installation Engineer
Data Installation Engineer
Location: Sheffield or UK wide (with occasional travel to UK/EU sites)
Contract: Permanent / Full-time
Department: IT Reports to: Head of IT Projects
We're looking for a motivated Data Installation Engineer(s) to join our growing team at Hutchison Technologies. Whether you're based in Sheffield or elsewhere in the UK, you'll install, test, and maintain the structured cabling and data infrastructure that connects our UK and EU sites.
Role Overview
As a Data Installation Engineer at Hutchison Technologies, your role will involve:
- Installing, terminating, testing, and maintaining structured cabling and network infrastructure
- Collaborating with internal teams and site contacts to ensure timely, high-standard completions
- Working closely with an engineering partner to uphold standards, share knowledge, and deliver projects efficiently
Travel Requirements
This is a UK-based role with regular travel across the UK and occasional EU travel. You must:
- Be comfortable with a flexible travel schedule
- Hold a full UK driving licence
- Be eligible to travel to EU countries for short stays without visa requirements
