Why This Role Exists

pubX is building the infrastructure for agentic advertising — automating the path from campaign brief to activated deal using AI agents that sit on both the buy and sell side of the transaction. We're a small, fast-moving product team building this from the ground up.

The Problem We’re Solving

Digital publishers leave significant revenue on the table because ad pricing is still largely manual, static or simple rule-based. Every ad impression is unique, but most pricing systems treat them the same. PubX's AI analyzes bid-stream data and historical patterns to arrange optimal deals, in near real-time.

As a founding member of AgenticAdvertising.org, we're building the next generation of autonomous advertising infrastructure.

The Role

We're hiring a Product Manager to own our data and integrations layer end-to-end. This is a hands-on, technical role: you'll be the person who takes a data partnership from signed agreement to live, working integration — negotiating the technical scope with the partner, defining the integration spec, working directly with engineering to build it, and owning it once it's in production.

This isn't a role that hands off execution to someone else. You'll sit between our engineering team and external partner teams, translating between the two, and you'll be accountable for whether an integration actually ships and works — not just whether it's scoped.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

What You'll Own

  • End-to-end delivery of data partner integrations— from technical kickoff through to production, including defining requirements, sequencing engineering work, and managing the partner relationship through delivery
  • Integration quality in practice— freshness, schema stability, SLAs, and what happens when a partner's data doesn't show up or doesn't match spec
  • Vendor relationship management— you're the primary product-side point of contact for integration partners once a deal is signed, including working through issues, renegotiating scope, and managing expectations on both sides
  • Data governance and privacy in our integration design— you understand consent, data rights, and privacy constraints well enough to bake them into how we build, not review them after the fact
  • The connective tissue between commercial and engineering— commercial teams sign the deals; you make sure what gets signed is buildable, and what gets built matches what was promised

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience owning multiple data partnerships and third-party integrations end-to-end — you've been the accountable owner driving more than one integration from contract to live, not someone peripheral to it
  • Strong vendor relationship management — comfortable being the steady hand with an external partner through a messy technical delivery
  • Practical, hands-on understanding of data quality — you know what "freshness" and "schema" mean in a spec, not just in theory
  • Comfortable operating at the boundary between engineering and external partners — technical enough to hold your own in an engineering conversation, relationship-minded enough to manage a partner well
  • Working knowledge of data governance and privacy practice
  • Solid adtech background, specifically the data and signal landscape — you know what a signal provider does, how identity resolution works, and where data flows in the stack
  • A technical PM profile with a specialism in integrations — this is not a generalist PM role

What Success Looks Like in the First Few Months

  • You've taken at least one live integration through delivery independently, understanding both the technical shape of the problem and the partner relationship it sits inside
  • Engineering trusts you to scope integration work accurately
  • Partners see you as the person who gets things unstuck, not the person who needs things explained to them

If you’re interested in building and shaping real systems in a growing product company, at the forefront of AdTech innovation, we’d love to hear from you.
