Data Lead

Data Lead / Senior Data Analyst

Location: London or South East, UK (Hybrid – minimum 2 days per week in London office)
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Reporting To: Chief Operating Officer
Salary: Competitive, Based on Experience

The Role

Are you a commercially minded data expert? We are seeking a Data Lead / Senior Data Analyst to spearhead data-informed decision-making across our business. Working closely with Product, Finance, Marketing, and Executive teams, you will monitor business performance, identify risks and growth opportunities, and provide actionable insights that directly improve user engagement and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Stakeholder Partnership: Partner with cross-functional leadership to define KPIs and measure operational, product, and commercial performance.
  • Strategic Insights: Conduct deep-dive analyses to uncover root causes behind performance changes and support the executive team with strategic, data-driven insights.
  • Reporting Frameworks: Build and scale robust reporting frameworks and performance monitoring systems across departments.
  • Data Strategy: Deliver proactive recommendations to optimize business performance and support evolving company-wide data projects.
  • Communication: Translate complex analytical and quantitative findings into clear, actionable business recommendations for non-technical stakeholders.

What You Will Bring

  • Experience: 5+ years of essential experience in a data-related or business intelligence role, ideally backed by a numerate degree (Data, Maths, Statistics, etc.).
  • Technical Skills: Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills using SQL and Python.
  • BI Tools: Proven experience building dashboards and reporting solutions using tools such as MixPanel, Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or Sisense.
  • Industry Background: Experience working within digital products, mobile apps, media, or consumer platforms is highly preferred.
  • Core Competencies: Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with a solid understanding of KPI frameworks and business analytics.
  • Language & Travel: Strong business English (written and verbal) is mandatory. Spoken Arabic is highly advantageous. Occasional international travel to global offices may be required.
