Data Manager

We're partnering with an established organisation at the beginning of an exciting data transformation journey. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious Senior Data Engineer or Lead Data Engineer looking to take the next step into a leadership position, helping shape the future of data across the business.

Salary is up to £70,000 + Benefits 3 days onsite in Aylesbury

You'll join a business where data currently sits across multiple systems with limited governance and consistency. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you'll play a pivotal role in bringing that data together, improving its quality and designing the foundations for a scalable, modern data capability.

This isn't a role where you'll inherit an established team or mature environment. Instead, we're looking for someone who enjoys solving problems, working creatively with the resources available and building something from the ground up.

The Role

As the organisation's senior data specialist, you'll combine strategic thinking with hands on delivery. You'll contribute to the future data strategy and architecture while remaining close to the technical implementation, working alongside internal technology teams and external partners to deliver practical solutions. As the data capability evolves, you'll have the opportunity to build and lead a small internal team.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
