Help us strengthen how we manage data across the charity.

You'll lead a data audit, improve data quality and GDPR compliance, and explore AI/automation tools to make our systems more efficient. Great for someone with data or systems experience.

What difference will you make?

As a growing charity, we're increasingly reliant on good data to run our programmes well, from tracking student engagement to managing donor and supporter information. But like many small organisations, our data has grown organically across several systems, without always having the structure or consistency it needs.

A Data Manager would help us get ahead of this before it becomes a bigger problem. A proper data audit gives us visibility over what we actually hold and where gaps or duplication exist. Better structure and data quality means our team can trust the information they're working with.

GDPR compliance and data security are also becoming more important as we scale, and getting this right protects both the young people we work with and the organisation itself.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

What are we looking for?

We're looking for someone with experience in data management, data analysis, or systems/operations roles, ideally with exposure to CRM or database structuring. Experience with GDPR and data protection practice is a strong plus, as is any hands-on experience with automation or AI tools applied to data workflows.

We'd value someone methodical and detail-oriented, who's comfortable making sense of imperfect data and proposing practical improvements rather than just flagging problems. Experience working with small teams or charities/non-profits is helpful but not essential, what matters most is the ability to bring structure and clarity to our data landscape.

What will you be doing?

We're looking for a Data Manager to help us build stronger foundations for how we collect, store and use data across the organisation. You'll start by undertaking a data audit across our key systems, our master programme databases, to understand what we hold, where, and how it's currently structured.

From there, you'll help us design a clearer data structure that can support our growth, including how records are organised, linked and maintained over time. A key focus will be data quality making sure records are accurate, consistent and properly categorised, and that we're handling data securely and in line with GDPR. Please note this role does not involve handling sensitive personal data.

You'll also support broader data cleaning and categorising work, and explore how AI or automation tools could reduce manual data work for our small team, for example through simple workflow automations or smarter use of the systems we already have.
