Data Manager

Manchester (Hybrid)
6-Month Contract
37.5 Hours per Week
£525 per day (inside IR35)

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Data Manager to join one of Europe's leading digital technology organisations, supporting the delivery of scalable, high-quality data solutions that power critical business decisions.

Working within a collaborative product and data environment, you'll help improve how data is managed, governed and delivered across the organisation while supporting modern data platforms and governance initiatives.

You'll be responsible for:

  • Supporting the design and implementation of data models.
  • Mapping and improving data flows across multiple systems.
  • Building and supporting data ingestion pipelines.
  • Integrating data from multiple sources into trusted datasets.
  • Implementing data quality validation and monitoring solutions.
  • Supporting data governance activities including data lineage and quality management.
  • Monitoring data reliability and ensuring timely delivery of business-critical information.
  • Collaborating closely with engineering, product and analytics teams.

We're looking for someone with:

  • Around 1-3 years of experience in Data Management, Data Engineering or a similar role.
  • Knowledge of relational and dimensional data modelling.
  • Experience with SQL and at least one scripting or analytical tool such as Pandas, R or VBA.
  • Understanding of data quality principles and governance best practices.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work across technical and business teams.
