Description

We are looking for a tech-savvy Data & Automation Specialist who can help connect data infrastructure with media performance. You will work alongside our Data Science and Engineering teams to help build and maintain data-driven tools that automate and optimise media campaigns across major platforms.

This is a hands-on, execution-focused role perfect for someone who loves SQL, data extraction, and using the latest AI tools to speed up workflows.

Requirements

  • Strong SQL skills and experience using database tools like DataGrip.
  • Familiarity with major digital ad platforms (Google, Meta, Amazon, etc.) and how data drives them.
  • Comfort using or a strong desire to learn developer-focused AI tools (e.g., Claude Code) to build skills and automate workflows.
  • Ability to look at numbers, measure performance uplifts, and write clear technical notes.
  • Good communication skills to act as the bridge between business requests and tech teams.

Job responsibilities

  • Pull and analyze data from relational databases using SQL to see how media campaigns and algorithms are performing.
  • Help implement and support automated, ML-driven tools designed to optimize media spend across ad platforms.
  • Use agentic AI tools (like Claude Code) to help query codebases and automate routine technical tasks.
  • Help turn business requests into clear technical documentation, system specs, and user stories for the engineering team.
  • Work daily with Data Science and Engineering teams to help troubleshoot data issues and keep projects moving forward.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
