Data, MI and Reporting Lead – Supply Chain Operations
Join us as our new Data, MI and Reporting Lead in the Supply Chain Operations (SCO) team—a pivotal role responsible for delivering high-quality data, management information (MI), and reporting that enables effective decision-making across Supply Chain Management (SCM). Reporting directly to the SCM Operations Manager, you’ll act as the data steward for SCM, shaping how we use data to drive insight, compliance, and performance.
About the Role
As Data, MI and Reporting Lead, you will:
- Improve decision-making across SCM through accurate, timely, and insightful MI, highlighting risks, trends, and opportunities.
- Enhance data integrity and governance, ensuring SCM data meets audit, compliance, and regulatory standards.
- Increase operational efficiency by automating and streamlining reporting processes, reducing manual effort and error rates.
- Foster cross-functional alignment with Finance, Risk, Technology, Property, and SCM through improved data flows, literacy, and shared understanding.
- Strengthen organisational transparency via high-quality dashboards and KPI reporting, clearly tracking performance, compliance, and strategic progress.
What You’ll Do
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance compliance: Protect the integrity of SCM data for audit, compliance, and decision-making.
- Convert datasets into actionable insights: Interpret trends, identify risks, and highlight opportunities for improvement.
- Design and maintain dashboards & MI packs: Deliver clear, automated, user-friendly solutions for SCM stakeholders.
- Collaborate across teams: Work with Finance, Risk, Technology, and SCM to improve data flows, literacy, and capability, catering to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Support regulatory and audit requirements: Provide evidence for controls, KPI tracking, and review processes.
- Produce regular and ad-hoc reports: Ensure timeliness, accuracy, and relevance for SCM.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver monthly MI, including:
- New supplier data (from Oracle)
- Purchase Order (PO) data (all POs raised monthly)
- Spend analysis and category-level insights
- Automated and updated dashboards for performance, KPIs, compliance, and trends.
- Highlight variances, trends, and risks requiring escalation.
- Provide evidence for audits, including data extracts, reports, and explanations.
- Support compliance reviews by ensuring data aligns with processes and frameworks.
About You
You’ll bring experience in:
- Data extraction, transformation, and validation (especially from ERP systems like Oracle).
- Dashboarding and MI reporting (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
- Spend reporting, KPI dashboards, and benefits tracking.
- Understanding of SCM processes (supplier onboarding, POs, contracting, spend governance).
- Stakeholder communication, with the ability to simplify complex data.
- Methodical attention to detail and ownership of data quality.
- Collaborative mindset, committed to continuous improvement.

Desirable Experience
- Procurement, Supply Chain, Finance, or Risk reporting roles.
- Involvement in audit preparation, compliance reporting, or control testing.
- Familiarity with data governance/stewardship frameworks.
