Data Migration Engineer (Junior-Mid) | Remote (UK) | £35,000 - £45,000

If you like the idea of your work having a direct, daily impact on thousands of end users, and want that impact to come from doing things properly rather than just quickly, this could be a great fit.

We're recruiting on behalf of a fast-growing, award-winning software company building AI-driven automation tools for people-intensive industries. With around 120 people globally across the UK and US, the engineering team places real emphasis on getting things right, not just getting them done.

The Role

You'll take ownership of migrating complex customer data into the platform, transforming, validating, and troubleshooting data as it moves, using established frameworks and processes. You'll start with support and review from senior engineers, becoming increasingly self-sufficient as you build confidence with the migration types and tooling. Where needed, you'll join customer calls to explain technical points and support delivery, and you'll help shape the process itself by feeding back edge cases, documentation gaps, and practical improvements to the wider team.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
